Sports and Fine-art Photography. Antonella Mannara is a sports photographer specialized in shooting action, tension, emotion and struggle in sportive context for advertising, corporate and editorial clients. Since 2012 Antonella has covered many international sports events: starting from Fencing Worldchampionships and International fencing contests, she covered many other sports games (as Basketball, Tennis, F1 and lately specializing in Waterpolo and Rugby, last participation at WorldCup France 2023). In September 2019 – one of her sports-photography projects has been awarded with a public Exposition called “Tagli di Luce” (Lights Cut) in Barcelona. She currently lives and works in Barcelona, accredited by LaLiga, collaborating with European Aquatics for Waterpolo, Open Water and Synchro and she is a Getty Images free contributor. She is continously exploring plastic and artistic aspects of sportsphotography through the composition, the language of lights and the study of the theatrical side of the sport universe. A work full of dramaturgy just at his start.
