Sports and Fine-art Photography. Antonella Mannara is a sports photographer specialized in shooting action, tension, emotion and struggle in sportive context for advertising, corporate and editorial clients.

Over the last years, Antonella has covered many international sports events: starting from Fencing World-championships, International fencing contests (Barcelona Annual Epée World-championships, Ciutat de Barcelona), she specialized into other sports games (as Rugby, Tennis, Boxe and lately Waterpolo) and she achieved covering the Mediterranean JJOO in Tarragona 2018 for the Italian Waterpolo Men Team “Settebello”.

After that, she covered as sports photographer staff the 33LEN European Waterpolo Championships in Barcelona, July 2018. In September 2019 – one of her sports-photography projects has been awarded with an Expo called “Tagli di Luce” (Lights Cut) in Barcelona.

She currently lives and works in Barcelona, exploring plastic and artistic aspects of Sportsphotography through the composition, the language of lights on the skin and face expression of the athletes, the passion and the study of the theatrical side of the sport universe. A work full of dramaturgy just at his start.
